Dentistry has always been a passion since 1979 when Laura Zhang entered Nanjing Medical University Dental School in China.

After graduated from the dental school, Dr. Laura Zhang started general practice in TaiZhou Medical School Dental Clinic. She also taught Restorative Dentistry, Periodontology, Preventive Dentistry, and Prosthetics to more than 10 classes there. The double roles of being a dentist and a lecturer offered Dr. Zhang tremendous opportunities in applying her solid theoretical background into patient treatment.

Five years later, Dr. Zhang moved to Nanjing Qinhuai Hospital Dental Clinic and worked as an associate dentist. The high volume patient flow enabled Dr. Zhang to achieve excellence in diagnosis and treatment of various oral cases and complexities.

In 1999, Dr. Zhang was accredited by Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario (RCDSO), and became a licensed dentist in Ontario.

While working as an associate dentist in North York, Mississauga and Richmond Hill areas, Dr. Zhang's professionalism and vast clinical knowledge of dentistry has been well-respected throughout the dental community and among her patients.

Dr. Zhang is an active member of RCDSO, Ontario Dental Association (ODA), and International Association for Orthodontics.

On November 28, 2004, Dr. Zhang announced her brand new office, North Warden Dental Centre, in Steeles & Warden area, Markham. She and her staff are working hard and strive to provide the best possible dental health care for patients of all ages in the community.
