Dentistry has always been a passion for Dr. Bingyi Zhang. She graduated from Nanjing Medical University Dental School in China in 1984. Afterwards, she started general practice at TaiZhou Medical School Dental Clinic. She also taught Restorative Dentistry, Periodontology, Preventive Dentistry, and Prosthetics to more than 10 classes there. The double roles of being a dentist and a lecturer offered Dr. Zhang tremendous opportunities in applying her solid theoretical background into patient treatment. Five years later, Dr. Zhang moved to Nanjing Qinhuai Hospital Dental Clinic. The high volume patient flow enabled Dr. Zhang to achieve excellence in diagnosis and treatment of various oral cases and complexities.
In 1999, Dr. Zhang was accredited by Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario (RCDSO), and became a licensed dentist in Ontario. She practiced in the GTA for several years prior to opening her own clinic.
On November 28, 2004, Dr. Zhang announced her new office, North Warden Dental Centre, in Steeles Warden area, Markham. She and her staff are working hard and strive to provide the best possible dental health care for patients of all ages in the community.
Dr. Zhang is an active member of the RCDSO, Ontario Dental Association and International Association for Orthodontics. Dr. Zhang has particular interest in dental implants, and orthodontics (braces & Invisalign).
Dr. Kelly Sam Chu has been our associate general dentist for 16 years. She obtained her dental DDS degree in 1998, from McGill University in Montreal. She graduated with great honors, as she was awarded with the Gold Medal for highest overall standing throughout the 4-year program.

After residency, Dr. Sam Chu worked in private practice in Montreal for 6 years. In 2004, she moved to Toronto and joined our practice to offer her services and share her experience in the dental field. She performs a variety of dental procedures: Fillings, extractions, root canal treatments, periodontal disease treatments, cosmetic dentistry, crowns and bridges as well as dentures. In 2019, she completed a year-long mini residency on dental implant surgery and restoration with The Institute of Dental Excellence. She’s an active member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario and Ontario Dental Association.
